North Carolina Annual Committee Meeting
On January 28 North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall, co-chair of NC/Moldova Bilateral Partnership, organised the North Carolina Committee Meeting to review on-going activities, future events, and envisioned projects for 2017 with Moldova. The civilian to civilian dimension of the NC-Moldova relationship began in 1999 and has operated continuously since that time. The agenda provided time for sharing information about current projects in Moldova and providing updates on the state of affairs. The event was attended by the NC/Moldova Bilateral Committee Members, Moldovan Embassy in DC, The State Department, NC National Guard, NC Secretary of State, NC Governor's Office, as well as Moldova friends and volunteers who are actively working on projects in Moldova. NC partner schools that are currently participating in our project shared about their collaboration with the Moldovan schools and educators.
